This Policy explains what personal information HotShot Management Inc. and its properties including WPDoneRight and WooDoneRight (known in this Policy as “we” or “WPDR“) collect and how we use it. Please read it carefully.

Generally, we collect information about you if you create an account, from your purchase of web or server services, of courses, when you email or call us, or from other supply purchases operated or administered by us, and when you use our websites, apps and social media. We use that and other information to provide better services, marketing and support to you and our other clients (including by analyzing your information to provide you with a personalized experience).

When you, for example, create an account, purchase products or services or subscriptions, download documents or contact us on the phone, you are thereby granting us permission to use your personal information, including email address, phone number, other contact information and pertinent dates to contact you. We may share your information with our contractors and/or Partners, and may share your information with other third parties.

We make very effort to protect your personal information and the security of this data in accordance with both CA-SL and CAN-SPAM legislation in both Canada and the USA.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. It is possible that visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images stored here.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year or longer.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data or usernames or passwords, and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for an undetermined amount of time, and screen options cookies last for a year or longer. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an item on our website, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited.

We and third party organisations use cookies and other technologies, such as server-side tracking, and pixel tags on our websites and in our emails. For more information about cookies and how to disable cookies, please see the technical support for your web browser.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We may share your data with contractors or subcontractors in order to complete the services for which you have paid or which you have requested. NO credit card data is ever stored on our server: it is always stored only with the payment provider.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

When you create an account, purchase products or services or subscriptions, or use our website or social channels, you thereby grant your consent for us to collect, process or use your personal information for specified purposes.

If you wish to withdraw any consent you have provided to us for such use of your personal information, please contact us or tell us about your preferences using the methods described in this section.

You understand that if you choose not to give us consents, or if you withdraw consents, you may not be able to take advantage of one or more features we offer.

In addition to contacting us, you can opt out in the following ways:

You can opt out of receiving marketing communications including newsletters. To stop receiving marketing communications, follow the links provided in any communication, and change your preference or follow the instructions in any promotional message you get. Even if you opt out of getting marketing messages, we will still be sure to send you transactional messages. For example, we may still contact you about your orders.

You can control and opt out of the use of cookies and tracking tools. To learn how to manage cookies and other tracking tools, please click here. (Wikipedia.org)

You can change your marketing preferences with a Partner (e.g. opt out of receiving marketing e-mails) by contacting that Partner or by following the instructions on any messages they send to you.
